ZIWI's chicken recipe isn't trying to be a novel protein option; it's trying to be what chicken-based dog food should have been all along: a simple, high-meat formula with a short, legible ingredient list and nothing in it that doesn't need to be there.
Free-range NZ chicken leads, followed immediately by chicken liver and chicken heart — organs that contribute CoQ10, Taurine, naturally occurring B vitamins, and iron at levels that muscle meat alone can't deliver. Chickpeas provide the only plant-based carbohydrate, and their position after three chicken ingredients tells you what proportion of the can they actually represent. New Zealand Green Mussel — included at 3% — brings naturally occurring glucosamine and chondroitin for joint health and Omega-3 fatty acids for skin and coat. Dried kelp adds natural iodine for thyroid function and trace minerals. Feeding Guide
Serve at room temperature. Use as a complete daily diet or as a topper over dry food. Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
